Early Math Assessment @ School (EMA@School) is an early numeracy screener designed to identify students in kindergarten to grade 3 who are underachieving relative to their peers.

The goal of this screener is to be a tool in the classroom to inform educators about which students may require extra assistance.

FEATURES OF EMA

This assessment measures vital skills in numeracy development such as number comparison, transcoding numbers, number line placement, and arithmetic fluency.

NyKK-5

WHAT IS
NyKK-5

NyKK-5 is a complete toolkit developed by a team of researchers, numeracy consultants, and teachers. It equips teachers with the necessary knowledge and resources to teach, assess, and support early numeracy.

GOALS OF NyKK-5

The goal of the tool kit is to provides everything a teacher needs to effectively teach early numeracy and determine the most appropriate interventions in supporting individual student learning.

FEATURES OF NyKK-5

NYKK-5 includes 100+ activity cards organized by core-numeracy skills. Manipulatives and supporting materials for a wide variety of representations and experiences. Formative assessment documents to track individual student progress.

ToyBox provides free, play and evidence-based activities on LettersNumbers, and Wellness to support  caregivers with children between the ages of 2-8 years old and engage in community outreach and events to share free resources with educators and caregivers
