Dr. Jo-Anne LeFevre,
2024 RSC Fellow

We are so proud to announce our very own Dr. Jo-Anne LeFevre is the 2024 Royal Society of Canada Fellow! She is the Chancellor’s Professor of Cognitive Science and Psychology at Carleton University. Her extensive research on mathematical cognition and learning is applied to improve the lives of Canadian children. Currently she focusses on the development of assessment tools that support equity in mathematics. In 2023, she received the Donald O. Hebb Award from the Canadian Society for Brain, Behaviour, and Cognitive Science in recognition of her sustained contributions to research, training, and leadership.
